Nail Salon – Terms & Conditions
Before booking an appointment with us, please read the following information:
General Terms and Conditions for the Nail Salon.

Appointments and Cancellations
1.1 Appointments:
Appointments must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
1.2 Cancellations:
You can reschedule your appointment once. Changes to appointments must be communicated by Instagram, mail or phone call with a minimum of 48 hours in advance.
For late cancellations, with less than 48 hours in advance, the deposit will not be refunded, nor will the appointment be rescheduled. (Article 6:96 paragraph 2 sub c of the Dutch Civil Code).
1.3 No-shows:
In the event of a no-show without prior notification, the full amount of the planned treatment will be charged.
1.4 Delays: Clients are required to arrive on time for their appointment. A delay of up to 10 minutes is accepted. In case of a delay exceeding 10 minutes, the nail technician reserves the right to cancel or adjust the appointment, subject to availability.
Till 15 minutes delay: no nail art
15+ minutes delay: appointment is automatically cancelled.

2. Deposits
2.1 Deposit:
For every appointment, both new and existing clients are required to pay a deposit of 30€.
2.2 Remaining Payment:
The remaining balance is to be paid on-site after the treatment.
2.3 Non-refundable upon Cancellation:
The deposit is non-refundable. The appointment can be rescheduled 48 hours in advance.
2.4 Rescheduling Appointments:
The deposit can be transferred to a new appointment only once if the rescheduling is done in a timely manner. This is only possible if the new appointment takes place within a reasonable time frame and subject to availability.
2.5 Deposit Storage:
It is not possible to hold the deposit for a future appointment if the new date is not immediately determined.

3. Payments and Invoicing
3.1 Payments:
Payments must be made immediately after the treatment.
3.2 Payment Methods:
Acceptable payment methods are debit card, payment link, immediate bank transfer, and cash payment.

4. Quality and Complaints
4.1 Warranty:
Gel nails have a warranty of 5 days, BIAB (Builder in a Bottle) have a warranty of 5 days, and gel polish of 3 days.
During this period, issues such as detachment will be repaired free of charge. (Article 7:17 of the Dutch Civil Code).
4.2 Complaints
Procedure: Complaints must be submitted in writing within 5 days after the treatment. The nail technician will address the complaint promptly and take it seriously.
4.3 Cooperation:
Despite all precautions, you may be dissatisfied with the result. The technician is happy to work with the client to reach a satisfactory solution.

5. Health and Hygiene
5.1 Health Declaration:
Clients must inform us prior to the treatment of any allergies, infections, or other health issues that might affect the treatment. We only work with healthy nails. Meaning, if you have any kind of wound or infection in your hand or fingers, it is necessary to consult the nail technician in advance.
5.2 Hygiene:
The nail technician adheres to the hygiene guidelines of the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) and the Medical Treatment Contracts Act (WGBO).

6. Privacy and Confidentiality
6.1 Personal Data:
Clients’ personal data is treated confidentially and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except when legally required. The nail technician complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
6.2 Photos:
Photos and videos of treatments may be used for promotional purposes unless the client objects in writing.

7. Liability
7.1 Misuse:
The nail technician is not liable for any damage arising from the improper use of the nails after the treatment, unless there is intent or gross negligence (Article 6:162 of the Dutch Civil Code).
7.2 Client Negligence:
The nail technician is not liable for any damage or injury resulting from the client’s failure to follow instructions during the treatment and after.

8. Prices and Price Changes
8.1 VAT Inclusive:
Our prices always include VAT, unless stated otherwise.
8.2 Price Changes:
Price changes will be announced at least one month in advance to our existing client base by social media, in accordance with the Health Care Market Regulation Act.

9. Right to Terminate:
9.1 –
The nail technician reserves the right to terminate the collaboration with a client in cases of repeated non-compliance with appointments, misconduct, or other serious reasons.
9.2 Refunds:
In the event of termination, any scheduled appointments will be canceled and any prepayments for treatments that have not yet been performed will be refunded.

10. Changes to the Nail:
10.1 Hygiene and Health:
If the nail technician detects a bacterial infection or any other health issue with the nail, the salon reserves the right to refuse styling and the deposit will not be refunded. In such cases, the client will be advised to consult a doctor for further treatment.

11. Salon Visits
12.1 Home Environment:
The salon is located in a small studio. Clients are requested to take this into account.
12.2 Companions:
Bringing a companion to the appointment is not permitted.

These terms and conditions have been established to ensure transparency, quality, and legal compliance while reflecting the unique style and approach of our nail studio.
They are based on the relevant Dutch legislation, including the Dutch Civil Code, the Medical Treatment Contracts Act, the General Data Protection Regulation, and other applicable regulations.
